Home is where the heart is.

Home is a place where we feel safe and where we can go back after a hard day, but the most important element of this are the people – without a family the HOME is only a HOUSE.
My home is in Piła where my mom and brother lives. Maybe it's not the biggest and the most beautiful flat which I ever seen, but that is where I feel best.
In Piła I live in a small flat. Since I remember, I dreamed about my own room, because now I share it with my brother, which is not very comfortable, but we have learned how to peacefully exist next to each other. Now, when I study, I can safely say that my brother was my best roommate. :)
This flat, although it is quite small, has many advantages. One of them is the fact that it is on the ground floor - this is very convenient, especially when I get back from shopping, or in the weekend evenings, if you know what I mean. :) The next advantage is the location - all I need is at my fingertips: school, shops, GP practice, river, park and a lot of buses in which I can go to any part of Piła. What's more, my street is quiet and safe, so I'm not afraid when I go home at night.
I mentioned that I would like to have my room and the next year I will have it because we're moving to the detached house in another district of my city. My dream come true, I will have more space, own garden and no neighbours behind the wall, but again I am not satisfied - I spend now more time in Poznań than in Piła so it will be hard to get used to a new place.
But well, I'm Polish so I guess the complaining is in my blood :)

This is England

I think it's time to make up arrears on the blog - Christmas are approaching, so I do not want to leave this work for free days. I guess I am already quite late. :)
To be honest, I don't watch many movies, so it's a little difficult for me to write a review of one of them, but I think I'll choose the film titled "This is England" – a movie that I have watched a few times and never managed to watch it in Polish or with Polish subtitles, but nothing happened - English accent is worth it. :)
The film is based on experiences of director Shane Meadows. It takes place in England (as the title implies) and tells the story of a boy who joins a group of skinheads, who become his best friends. And don't get me wrong – not every skinhead is a racist or a neo-Nazi – this is the story about friendship, entry into adulthood and social problems of British working-class in the 80's.
In my opinion, the additional advantage of this film is the music – I like to come back from time to time to this soundtrack.
Because I think most of you never heard of this film, I put here a trailer and encourage you to watch the whole movie. I hope you enjoy it!

p.s. if you find a version with a Polish lector, send it to me ;)

The first note,

It's my first note and I should write something about me, but now I don't have time to do this, because I've lost a lot of time to look for a suitable background for this blog and I'm still not satisfied, so I'll do this later :)

It would be better if I turn to the task and write something about my friends.
I only have a few close friends but it's quality, not quantity that counts, so I appreciate what I have. My friends are different - some of them are crazy, others are quiet and calm, but the most important thing is that I feel comfortable with them and I can be myself - we can understand each other without words :) I know most of my friends for many years, but at the university I have also met many interesting people. Together we go to concerts or pubs, we watch the movies and walk around the city at night :) I think that the most important part od friendship is trust and understanding - thanks to that we can communicate with people who seem to be quite different from us.
I wish you all true friends, good night.
